Atari's Resource Hub

Hello! Welcome to my site where I gather online resources (mostly websites, but sometimes PDFs or other things) and categorize them so people can find them more easily. Currently, it's a major work in progress, so I apologize if it's ugly or glitchy.
If you have suggestions for something to add or any bad accessibility or mobile-friendliness issues, shoot a message to @.veridis.quo on Discord and I'll look into it! Keep in mind I do have a couple more links saved than are currently on this page, I just haven't added them all yet because... aauuoougguh

To-do list:

Not in any particular order. Will almost definitely not be completed in this order.

Update log:

Update August 29, 2024 (in progress!)
New & Updated:
  • Added to-do list
  • Tried working on the light/dark mode toggle and gave up temporarily, but hid the button for the time being because it was ugly and non-functional.
  • Tweaked some page margins/padding

Update August 26, 2024
Started adding support for switching between light and dark modes. It's not currently functional (or pretty), but the JS for it is there now! I should just need to add the CSS next time I update for it to work.

Update July 24, 2024
Removed the underline from the nav menu's links. That's it, unless I feel motivated after I finish my finals today... which I might. If I do, I think the next thing I want to focus on is the color scheme and adjusting some margins so the site isn't such an eyesore. (Or maybe making the menu more mobile-friendly, but my plan for that involves Javascript, which I am very rusty on)

Update June 24, 2024
New:
  • Edited the appearance for linked resources to be more readable. Colors are, again, placeholders until I decide on a color scheme.
  • Added a new site and updated an old one on the "low budget" page
  • Added the "recipes" section to the "low budget" page (it is currently the only section)
  • also removed some random css i added and forgot about but this didn't change anything about the site except making the link colors more consistent. please comment your code so future you knows why you put it there
  • Edited the appearance and HTML of links on the "hotlines" page to be more readable (and just... look better) and more easily navigated for screenreaders and search engines... I hope.

Update June 23, 2024
Edited the update log's appearance to stand out more. Colors are placeholders until I decide on a color scheme for the site, but the contrast levels should stay about the same unless I find out they don't contrast enough/a similar issue.

Update June 11, 2024:
Edited CSS (mostly relating to the nav bar and some placeholder colors) and divided the "graphics" page into sections.

Update March 31, 2024:
Starting working on CSS a tiny bit

Update March 5, 2024:
Started recreating the site completely from scratch.

New:
  • Added navigation links
  • Added changelog
  • Wrote home page's about paragraph
  • Added the first 2 links to the hotlines page

I'm planning on adding a tag system so you can search the site by keywords (such as "recipe", "tools", or "blinkies"), but it might be a bit since I'm not sure how to do that yet. I also plan on fixing the site's CSS, lmao.
